The Prophetic Word of God

The word prophecy means to speak forth. God commissions each prophet to fulfill a particular role in God's plan. As interpreters they explain God's acts to men. As spokesman they voice God's truth. They speak messages of hope and inspiration. As prophets they predict future events in God's plan through revelation given by the Holy Spirit. Prophecies are beyond human ability.
